We are thrilled to announce the 2025 Radical Innovation Awards Ceremony and Dinner Keynote to feature Jim Deters, Founder & CEO of Gravity Haus and Mike Scott, Managing Partner of Thayer Investment Partners (TIP). Stacy Shoemaker Rauen, Hospitality Design Icon & Visionary Leader, will once again join us on stage to moderate this engaging conversation surrounding the reality of bringing bold hospitality concepts to life.

Jim Deters is no stranger to innovation. As the founder and CEO of Gravity Haus, he has built a growing network of lifestyle hotels, restaurants, coffee experiences, and social clubs that seamlessly blend lodging, wellness, co-working, dining, and outdoor experiences. Rooted in sustainability and inclusivity, his vision positions Gravity Haus as an “experience business” that fosters membership based active lifestyles. Drawing on his earlier career in the tech world—where he co-founded Galvanize, a pioneering education and co-working platform, Jim has integrated digital products, app-based memberships, and data-driven personalization into Gravity Haus, applying his knowledge of innovation and technology to transform hospitality.
Jim launched Gravity Haus in Breckenridge in 2019 and has since expanded to Vail, Winter Park, Truckee-Tahoe, Steamboat, Jackson Hole, Moab, Big Sky and Denver, with more locations on the horizon. Today, Gravity Haus serves thousands of members and offers amenities such as co-working spaces, top tier fitness facilities and programming, recovery centers, gear rentals, Unravel Coffee cafés, and incredible restaurants. Each property is thoughtfully curated to bring people together through travel, wellness, delicious meals, and outdoor adventure.
Mike Scott brings a complimentary perspective to the stage. In his role at TIP, Mike bridges the gap between vision and execution, helping entrepreneurs secure the capital, partnerships, and industry expertise they need to grow their concepts. TIP’s portfolio includes cutting-edge technologies that aim to evolve the hospitality and transportation sectors, many of which are utilized by Jim across his Gravity Haus locations.
