Submit Your Radical Concepts
Through its annual competition, the Radical Innovation Award® invites innovators from around the world to submit bold ideas that can propel the hospitality industry forward. The platform brings together development, design, and technology visionaries to explore new concepts for the hotel and tourism industries. Through an international network of talent scouts and an open call for entries, Radical Innovation discovers breakthrough concepts and brings them to a global stage.
Judging Process
The Design Jury reviews all Project submissions, the Product Jury reviews Product submissions, and the Technology Jury reviews Technology submissions to select the finalists. Concepts are evaluated primarily on how radical and forward-thinking the idea is, along with originality, creativity, feasibility, and quality of presentation.
Finalist Mentorship
Selected finalists receive mentorship from the Radical Innovation Jury and Advisory Board, helping refine their ideas and prepare for presentation to industry leaders. All finalist submissions are showcased on this website, where public voting also opens.
Live Presentation & Awards
Finalists present their concepts at the Radical Innovation live event in October. Winners are announced that evening and shared across multiple global hospitality and design media outlets.

The Radical Innovation Award Student Project winner will receive $5,000 and the opportunity to apply for an Assistantship and full Scholarship from our University Partners.
The Radical Innovation Award Student Product winner will recieve $2,500 and will be connected to a network of designers, manufacturers, and investors to further their innovation.
The Radical Innovation Award Technology winner will be connected to a network of technology leaders, operators, investors, and industry partners to further develop and advance their innovation.

The University of Las Vegas Nevada (UNLV) offers the student design winner the opportunity to apply for an assistantship to their Masters of Architecture program.
The University of Illinois offers a Teaching Assistantship to their School of Architecture to a qualifying student winner.
