The Making of the 2025 Radical Innovation Awards

The Radical Innovation Award is more than a symbol of achievement—it is a physical expression of the forward-thinking ideas that shape the future of hospitality. Designed by Product Juror Josh Owen, Vignelli Distinguished Professor and Director, Vignelli Center for Design Studies at RIT and President, Josh Owen LLC, the award embodies our commitment to advancing the boundaries of design and innovation.

To bring this vision to life, Owen partnered with Michael Stern, Founder of Evenline, a first-of-its-kind design studio specializing in 3D-printed glass objects created through proprietary technology developed by Michael and his team.

Presented to the winner of each category, these awards function as both symbols of achievement and purposeful objects, ensuring that recognition extends beyond a static place on a shelf.
